CTR

Hey! I have the most exciting news! I just had CTR surgery yesterday and now I can always-

15-ctr

Boy-oh-boy! Don't we wish it was that easy?

This kind of CTR stands for Carpal Tunnel Release... and if I'd know how easy it would be I would have done it years ago! Compared to-
  • Tonsilectomy
  • Tubal pregnancies (plural)
  • Appendectomy
  • Varicose vein stripping
...this is a stinkin' piece of cake!

I will be so nice to have my hands back for-
  • hand sewing
  • painting
  • hand writing
  • gardening
  • lawn mowing
  • nose picking

The only downside is I have to wear my *boxing gloves* for the next 10 days and keep them clean and dry! (I'll have to give you a shower/hair washing update!)

I just left you a long message and I don't think I was signed in or that you got it. So sad. My dad had carpal tunnel surgery like 15 or so years ago on both hands at the same time and he was laid up for 2-3 months. Things have changed alot. Technology and the medical field have come a long way! He however had the hardest time wiping. I know its gross but be grateful if you can do that by yourself. We take the simple things for grantite. Good luck!

I meant granted. Not grantite. I don't know what that word is. :o)
