194- The Scenic Nebo Loop with Company

This day Gordon's sister, Lorraine, and her daughter, Holly, and son-in-law, James, came to see us. Lorraine flew out for the wedding and we got this extra day to visit with her. They decided that we would take the Nebo Loop. Sweet Suzi loaned us her big SUV so we could make the trip in comfort, what a nice vehicle!

Our first stop was the Grotto. I was first introduced to this sweet place by the Flynn family. It is a short hike up to the Grotto where the water has hollowed out all the natural aggregate.

We waded out in the freezing shallow water to get a good photo.(I didn't get everyone else, oh well... still to tired to think.)

I looked down on the rock and here was a random camera with a name label that said, *Joanie*.

WHAT??

I asked the three girls who *Joanie* was and then introduced my-little-*Joanie* -self to her. There are so few of us in the world. This Joanie is on the left and she is Joan Marie! Pretty girl... pretty name.

We continued on around the loop with the intention of hiking around Payson Lake's largest lake but got rained out on that account.

But look what was waiting for us!! The Fish and Game fellows were there restocking! I've never seen this in action before. They had a truck that looked like a regular water truck with this big drain pipe. They opened the spigot and look what shot out!

194- restocking the lake

They said they restock every week. I asked if they could just hand me one of them instead! Towards the end one of the fellows stuck a broom into the top of the tank and swept out the last straggler, plop!

Lastly, I just can't pass up one more beautiful shot of Mt Nebo. What a beauty.

We ended our day by taking Pizza Hut pizza back to Suzi's and had dinner there with them.
