Rainbows

I ventured outside this evening to water a few dry spots and recently located plants. When I opened the garage door I could see the rain in the air, but no wetness on the driveway. I was pondering on that phenomenon when I heard a neighbor's grandchildren calling out...

"Look!! There's TWO of them!"

I knew immediately what they were seeing TWO of! I came inside, grabbed my Rebel and out I went... chasing rainbows!

168- Rainbow

6:21pm
I looked out my wonderful *playroom* window and saw my neighbor's little 6-year old granddaughters playing in my puddle! (I'm going to be so sad when the city fixes this section of road and my *Lake Lewis* is gone!) I ran out with my camera in hand... and, of course, they were willing subjects for my photo-op.

6:35pm
I've finished mending a bag for *grandma*-neighbor and we walked out the front door so I can get shots of the monsoonal rain. What a beautiful sight. (I haven't had to run my sprinklers in over a week!!)

I dash to our bedroom window and take the screen out so I can get shots of our beautiful, vibrant, Hobble Creek double rainbow.

More R A B

Now, for those of you out there who are Harry Potter fans (Would we be called Harry Potter Heads? Pot-heads for short?? No! At least Potter-heads!!)
R A B doesn't refer to Regulus Arcturus Black but...

RANDOM ACTS OF BEAUTY!

Recently we were treated to some wonderful summer thunder storms, complete with a beautiful triple rainbow! Sadly, the camera doesn't capture the third rainbow as did my eye. The third was actually a repeat of the brightest rainbow immediately below it. It repeated itself starting with the green, blue, and violet ribbons of light. It was truly beautiful.

Next time you see a rainbow STOP and take that photo... these were taken with my Razor phone camera.
