I love this time of year! It is summer's last hurrah! The flowers love the cooler weather and thus reward us with additional blossoms. They are thick, fragrant and beautiful. I found that my lamb's ear had bloomed again. This has got to be one of my favorite perennials! I love to feel them. They are soft and furry just like Harley's ears!
I first became acquainted with this plant when I lived in Palmdale and a sweet sister taught a gardening class. I could never find them when I lived there. But here they were, living happily at my Springville house. Just another one of those blessed and happy things...
