I can never see them without thinking about my Momma and all of her daffodils in various colors that came up each spring. To me, they just embody the essence of spring!
When I did a quick Wikipedia search I learned something new... narcissus is the botanical name for daffodil. I always thought there were two different, but related, flowering bulbs.
