137- Bearded Iris
This beautiful Bearded Iris has been in my yard since I moved here, but this is the first year I've gotten to enjoy its bloom. These rhizomes used to live along the back of the garage. They just were not happy there. So last fall I cleaned out that bed and moved them to the flower bed just outside the family room.
Ah, now Iris is happy! Look at her beautiful display!

Joanie, that is so pretty. Almost a pinky color on the top petals.
Wayne & I went nursery shopping a couple of springs ago with Sarah. SHE bought a wonderful salmon-y colored iris. Said she remembered the iris at home, although I never had anything that showy.
