I frequently see these insect shots where the insect is so clear, sharp and close and I ask, "How'd they do that?"
Well, I can tell you. You have to have a very brave insect! I spotted this little dragonfly in the Temple gardens on Friday. I had to go clear around the bed to get to his side. I had to fumble with my focus point. And then I got up close and personal. No kidding I kept moving in until the tip of my lens (which will focus at .8 ft aka 9.6 inches) could no longer focus I was so close! He just hung out there still as could be and let me do my thing.
Thank you Evenrude! (Anybody know what that is from?)
