Yes, you guessed it... a throwback to those old Monty Python days (and the knights who say NEE).
I mentioned several days ago all of the wonderful plants I have here on my little quarter-acre of heaven. At the front corner of my house, right outside my playroom window (yeah, I've decided to rename my workroom my playroom!) is a wonderful shrubbery (NEE) that I just recently found out was Sandcherry. It has those lovely reddish-purple leaves and in the spring it is covered with these delicate pink blossoms.

They are beautiful. I wonder if they would make it in CA. p
In response to Sweet P --- Sand cherry needs moderate amounts of water. Utah is Zone 4-5. Elevation - 4000-5300 ft. If it won't grow where you live, talk to a nurseryman and see what he can suggest to you.
Your photo is wonderful, Joanie. And I love the lacy look this has peeking aound the corner of your house.
Sure enjoyed visiting!! Thanks again!!
My roommate tells me that "shrubbery" meant the same as "strumpet" from dumb and dumber's "tea and strumpet." Not sure you want one of THOSE outside your window auntie! ;)
ROFL... Oh I see... I should have known! Thanks for the heads-up!
